זהו סיפורה של מילי, בחורה שביום הולדתה מתמודדת עם תחושת כאב עמוק ועם חוסר שמלווה אותה כל חייה עקב מות אחותה התאומה לפני לידתן. ברגע בקשת המשאלה היא נשאבת למסע דרך עוגת יום הולדתה, אשר בו היא נפגשת בדמיונה עם אחותה.
