In the culture of ancient Greece, the term paideia referred to the rearing and education
of the ideal member of the polis, and thus I chose it for the name of the channel that is
all about education.
The theme of the series is cognitive biases: a pattern or habitual inclination (not random)
of people to make mistakes in perception, memory, thought or judgement. Unlike Cognitive
distortions (depression, anxiety etc.), cognitive biases are considered a normal way of
thinking that evolved from the evolutionary process.
Each interlude outlines a different cognitive bias with a short story. The script for the confirmation bias was adapted from the The Hamitic Hypothesis by Michael Robinson. youtube.com/watch?v=gn4bvjMh4vc
