Local industry and culture shape one another.

These days, the world’s production centers are all located in the same small part of the world, clouding the diversity and singularity of different cultures. In my work I have joined forces with Caesarstone, an international company that manufactures quartz countertops, which sits near Caesarea Port that has served as a trade center for thousands of years. Led by the desire to tie together local culture and industry, I designed “storage jars” using quartz countertops. The ancient storage jars were used to transport the goods by sea, while the new ones are the goods .themselves
